FinnFunn Weekend (2025 DATES TBA)

This annual event is not held at FAHS, but is such a mainstay in Finnish American cultural events around the country that we would be remiss to not include it on our list. FinnFunn Northeast organizes an amazing weekend of food, fun, education, culture, and community every year for all Finnish-Americans in New England. Currently the date and location for the 2025 FinnFunn Weekend hasn't been announced publicly.

FinnFunn Weekend 2024 returned to its anchor location amidst colorful foliage and a grand view of Mt. Monadnock - the perfect setting for a program of rich Finnish and Finnish-American heritage, culture, and funn. New presentations, among others, feature a one-act play “My Immigrant Story – a Comedic Monologue,” a Finnish bread and butter table demonstration, and everyday Finnish phrases and pronunciation. Familiar funn activities like crafts, the raffle, tori, sauna Revontulet Finnish dancers, and Oivan Ilo Dance Band return too. The program has something to interest all attendees.
