FAHS has been a long-standing participant at Canterbury Old Home Days as a representative of this amazing community our society has found its home in. Come by and learn more about our organization and buy some pulla bread!

This event is Canterbury's favorite way to welcome the return of the fall. It typically takes place on the Town Green - aka the lawn of the First Congregational Church - on the last Saturday in September. This popular hometown event features demonstrations of traditional crafts & trades, historical reenactors, delicious food, vendors of all varieties, children's activities and more! Admission and parking are always FREE and the event goes on rain or shine.

In addition to all of the other activities, The Canterbury Historical Society has also been holding a Scarecrow Contest! The last two year's contests were a big hit so hopefully this event continues on to become a tradition in future years as well.

More information on Old Home Day will be forthcoming as vendors are confirmed, etc. so check out the Canterbury Historical Society Facebook page for updates!
